Around us, we would have noticed a few people with some issues in concentrating or remembering things, poor memory etc. The condition present in them is called brain fog, It is true that brain fog would affect the daily activities of a person. This is not a permanent condition and it is possible to get cured from brain fog.

Various reasons for brain fog :

There are several reasons for brain fog like over working, poor sleep, stress etc. it is mentioned that we could get brain fog conditions by spending too much time on laptops or computers etc too. It is worthy to mention here that at the cellular level brain fog could be due to high inflammation or changes in the hormones that would determine our mood etc.

Intake of Omega 3 fatty acids intake:

By intake of omega 3 fatty acids, brain fog would get reduced. Fishes like salmon, sardines etc have rich amounts of omega 3 fatty acids. Those who are vegetarians or who don`t consume fishes etc could consume chia seeds, flaxseeds, walnuts etc to get omega 3 fatty acids.

Intake of B Vitamins:

Our brain function would get better by consuming vitamins like B6, B9 and B12 etc. Foods like green leafy vegetables, whole grains, legumes etc are rich in  B vitamins. Persons can also eat fortified cereals also.

Intake of vitamin D:

We could get cognitive decline and brain fog when we have low levels of vitamin D. Therefore, it is important that we get exposed to sunlight for atleast 15 minutes per day. Truth is that sunlight is the best source of vitamin D.

Intake of magnesium:

It is highly necessary that we must eat foods like spinach, almonds, cashews, avocados etc that are rich in magnesium. For good brain functioning, enough magnesium must be needed.

Intake of antioxidants:

It must be noted that antioxidants protect our brain cells from damage due to free radicals. By this, brain fog would be reduced well. We must eat foods like strawberries,&,  blueberries, dark chocolates etc as they are rich in antioxidants.

Intake of choline:

By the intake of choline based foods, our memory plus concentration would become better.  Examples of choline rich foods are eggs, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli etc.
