The State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that a special prize of up to Rs. 2 Lakhs will be awarded to the farmers with excellent performance through the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Agriculture.
The State Government of Tamil Nadu has decided to give awards to the farmers for excellent performance in various aspects such as inventing and implementing the latest technology, inventing new tools/implements, organic agriculture process, and export of the harvest!
The awards will be given from this year (2022).
The winners of the competitors will be given Rs. 2 Lakhs each in different categories.
The farmers interested in applying for this have to install the App ‘Uzhavan’ on their cell phones and register their names in the App.
After registering in the App, the candidate has to visit the respective local Agriculture Assistant Director’s Office and get the application form paying Rs. 100/- and submit the duly filled application form attaching the receipt for the fees paid.
