Having food poisoning, then you must consume these foods compulsorily!!

We all would have vomited or felt uneasy etc after consuming certain foods or drinks etc!!

Point is that when we eat contaminated foods then we might fall sick or ill. This is termed as food poisoning. Truth is that this is not a serious issue and after a few days the person would become normal. Both bacteria as well as viruses can contaminate the foods we eat. There are few symptoms associated with food poisoning like stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhoea. It is important to mention here that the symptoms would appear hours or even days after consuming the contaminated foods.

There are certain foods we must eat if we have food poisoning

BRAT diet intake:

For easing digestion and to overcome various symptoms of food poisoning, it is advised to consume a BRT diet consisting of bananas, rice, applesauce and toast.

Clear liquids intake:

The lost electrolytes could be replaced in the person with food poisoning when he or she consumes clear liquids like herbal teas, water etc. Getting hydrated is essential.

Bland soups intake:

It is good to consume brand soups like chicken broth or vegetable broth etc as they are easy to digest. By consuming thee, the digestive system would not get irritated.

Yoghurt intake:

Healthy gut bacteria could be restored by consuming yoghurt rich in probiotics. By consuming yoghurt, our recovery would get speeded up.

Cooked vegetables intake:

When compared to raw vegetables, steamed or boiled vegetables would be superb to digest. These would provide us with essential nutrients etc.

Lean protein intake:

Being gentle on our stomach plus supplying the much needed proteins etc, the intake of cooled lean meats like chicken, fish etc would be superb for those with food poisoning.

Herbal tea intake:

It is good to drink chamomile or peppermint tea that would calm down the digestive system and reduce nausea etc.
