No hike in Seva ticket prices for common devotees: TTD chief !
Due to the raging waves of the coronavirus pandemic and its variants, devotees were not allowed for the Arjitha Sevai of the Lord Venkateswara over the last 2 years.
With the perceptible reduction in the extent/impact of the coronavirus pandemic in recent months, and has decided to allow the devotees for the Arjitha Sevai.
In this situation, The Endowment Security Board of Thirumalai Tirupathi Devasthanam Board (TTD) organised an emergency meeting in this regard.
A decision was taken in this meeting to increase the prices of Darshan Tickets who brings the recommendation letters !
As such, TTD has now released the details of the price increase of the Darshan tickets:
The ticket for the Suprapadha Sevai has been increased from Rs. 120/- to Rs. 2000/-
The tickets for the Atchanai and Thomaalai Sevais, where the devotees can sit inside the temple for 45 minutes and have a good Darshan of Lord Venkateswara, has been increased from Rs. 200 to Rs. 5000.
Veda Aasirvadha ticket issuied at the Ranganayaka Mandapam has been increased from Rs. 3000/- to Rs. 10000/-!
The price of the Kalyana Utsavam ticket has been increased from Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 2500/-.
The ticket for Vastra Sevai, performed on Fridays, has been increased from Rs. 52000/- to Rs. 102000/-.
The price of the Prasadam of Jalebi or Jangiri (offering to the Lord) given for the Thiruppaavadai Sevai, performed on Thursday, has been increased from Rs. 100/- to Rs. 500/-.
