Various signs through which our body would tell us about the importance of taking rest!!

Many of us work 24/7 for the sake of our families without even taking rest inbetween. This is not good and it must be stopped. Taking rest is very essential and we all need it.

The bitter fact is that our body would reveal certain signals regarding when it would need rest but we might not listen to that. For the sake of both physical health and mental health, it is highly important to recognise when our body needs rest. In this fast paced world this is necessary. There would be reduced health and productivity when we overlook these crucial signs. As a result, our long term well being might get affected.

Various important signs that our body would reveal for the need of rest are

Persistent fatigue:
Sometimes, even after sleeping well, we would feel tired and fatigued. This would show that the body has not recovered well. Both mental sharpness and physical strength would get affected by this.

Fluctuations in mood:
Mental fatigue would be shown by mood swings even for minor issues. This would indicate that we have not had enough rest. Please take care

Reduced immunity:
Overstrained body would be shown by reduced immunity also. It is necessary to take rest for the body to recover.

Cognitive decline:
Over exertion both mentally as well as physically could lead to cognitive decline or poor memory, issues in concentration etc.

Physical symptoms:
There are few physical symptoms that would show that our body needs rest. These are unexplained headaches, muscle pain, stomach issues etc.

Sleep problems:
When our body as well as our mind gets overworked, then we could get sleep disturbances or insomnia etc. Please take care.

Emotional exhaustion:
Sometimes, challenging events would occur in our lives continuously and would make us emotionally worn out. This is called emotional exhaustion. This could also be a sign that our body needs rest.
